Please save the date for a faculty networking event to encourage cross-institutional collaboration between the University of California San Francisco and San Francisco State University. The theme for this fourth event in the ‘In the Mix’ series is ‘Community Engaged Research’.
This event will welcome SFSU faculty member, Dr. Nina S. Roberts and UCSF Clinical Research Coordinator, Edgar Velazquez, to speak about what community engaged research is, why it's important, and to give examples of how they've successfully engaged communities in research.

Thursday January 23, 2019: SF BUILD Winter Writing Retreat
Time: 8AM-4PM (lunch will be provided)
Location: Mercy Center (2300 Adeline Dr, Burlingame, CA 94010)
This retreat will provide faculty with a dedicated quiet space to work on writing projects. Faculty will also have the opportunity for a 1-on-1 consultation on grant proposals or manuscripts with a faculty member expert in writing and grants.
