Interested students will work on implementing the Pilot study for mPROVE an app built for Spanish, Chinese, or English speaking patients with chronic depression, hypertension, or diabetes. The app is used to track vital signs and symptoms between clinical visits with primary care physicians. For this project, no tech experience is needed, we're looking for motivated individuals with working level Spanish fluency (preferred) who is interested in the SF community and wants to learn more about how to close the digital divide for those who are older and from diverse backgrounds. Besides a close working relationship with medical student, Billy Zeng, you'll also be working with expert researchers in the mobile health field, Dr. Ida Sim, and community health, Dr. Tung Nguyen.
