SF BUILD Assistant Director for Diversity Inclusion and Community Partnerships recognized by UCSF’s Clinical & Translational Science Institute  (CTSI)

Kelechi Uwaezuoke, DrPH, MPH, was one of four leaders selected to be featured for CTSI Celebrates! Black History Month. This spotlight recognizes and amplifies the great work of our amazing colleagues who are a part of UCSF’s research community. CTSI’s Mission is to improve patient and community health through clinical and translational research. This mission is advanced by developing broad coalitions and partnerships at the local, regional and national levels to enable a transformation of the research environment. Dr. Uwaezuoke was selected to be featured as this year’s community partner and shares insight on the work of SF BUILD, the importance of mentorship, community and offers key advice for researchers at UCSF and beyond.
