The Prevalence of Long Covid in Underserved Emergency Department Populations

Project Description

We have 2 spots available for students in this project that is centered in the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Emergency Department. The objective of this study is to assess the prevalence and specific symptoms of Long Covid in underserved populations whose primary access to health care occurs in emergency departments (EDs). Students will become part of our Emergency Medicine research team consisting of several Emergency Medicine faculty members at UCSF. We hope to complete this project by December 2023, but it might continue beyond that time.

Institution: UCSF
